We spoke to cleaning professionals about their favourite tips to help you clean like a pro. These tips will be useful to make your tasks a little faster and more efficient.

1 - Clean in a clockwise direction

The first professional secret states that, whatever the space to be cleaned, “make sure you do it clockwise. “This will help avoid missing a spot”, says Adriana Aziz of MaidForYou.
 

2 - Make a checklist

“Everything works better with planning”, says Alex Varela, of Dallas Maids of Frisco. Cleaning professionals have a checklist that is carefully designed to maximise time and resources. The checklist should be thought of both in terms of weekly or monthly planning and the cleaning time itself.
 

3 - Choose the right tools

5 - Let the products work

“Many people don't know this, but cleaning professionals are efficient in their work because they let the products act on the surface”, said Steve Evans, of Memphis Maids. “It's about working smart, not hard. Let the products act for 15 minutes instead of scrubbing like crazy!”.
